Most Districts will meet their capacity Registration Closes: 10:00pm January 29, 2016 (All registration conducted online) T-shirts with wrestler’s names on them are available for purchase online or at the tournament. You must register by Tuesday the week of the tournament for your wrestler’s name to be included. Weigh-In: Saturday Jan. 30, 2016 Time: Noon – 4:00pm Sunday January 31, 2016 Time: 7:00am-8:00am (All Divisions) Sunday January 31, 2016 Time: 11:00am – 11:30am (Divisions II & III) Wrestling Start Time Divisions I & IV: 9:30am Wrestling Start Time Divisions II & III: Approximately 2:00pm Admission: $5 admission for ALL spectators. (5 and under free) Coaching Bands: $5 Good for this District Only (Only 2 coaches with band at mat side) Match Rules: National Federation Rules with modifications. District Brackets: 5 wrestlers or less will be round robin. 6 or more wrestlers will be placed in appropriate brackets of 8-man, 16-man or 32-man. State Brackets: 32-man. -Championship matches: Three (3) periods of 1 ½ minutes; Consolation matches (3) periods of 1 minute -Choice of position at end of period. Headgear Mandatory, shoestrings do not require tape. *Weigh-Ins will be conducted in Singlets or t-shirts & shorts. No weight allowance for clothing. Division I weight classes: Birth Year 2009 and later 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, HWT (max 75) Division II weight classes: Birth Year 2007 & 2008 45, 50, 55, 58, 61, 65, 70, 75, 85, HWT (max 120) Division III weight classes: Birth Year 2005 & 2006 55, 60, 65, 68, 71, 75, 80, 85, 95, 110, 130, HWT (max 160) Division IV weight classes: Birth Year 2003 & 2004 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, HWT (max 180) Division IV is for wrestlers in 6th grade and under. No wrestlers above 6th grade may compete in the Grade School District regardless of their birth year
