Additional Tournament Information

Online entry closes at 9pm the night before the tournament. You can still walk in and register at the tournament if online registration is closed however; you will not receive computer points for state ranking and district seeding. Top three place finishers in the Youth Open Division (12 and under) will receive deluxe “Olympic Style” medals! This is an open tournament in which anyone may compete! However, there will also be a team race. The top three teams will be awarded team trophies, including a beautiful 50- inch trophy to the team champions! This tournament has both Open and Rookie Divisions (for first and second year wrestlers only). We will start on time and run quickly for all sessions. NO WRESTLER WILL WRESTLE ANYONE 7:30-12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m. D4: 2005-2006 MORE THAN 10% HEAVIER WITHOUT PARENT 7:30-12:30 p.m. 1:30 p.m. Middle School OR COACH PERMISSION. 7:30-9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. “NOVICE” DIVISION TOURNAMENT ( FIRST AND SECOND YEAR WRESTLERS ) AGE GROUP WEIGHT CLASSES WEIGH-IN START TIME D1: 2011 and Later WEIGHT CLASSES WILL BE DETERMINED AFTER 7:30-9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. D2: 2009-2010 WEIGH IN. NO WRESTLER WILL WRESTLE ANYONE 7:30-9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. D3: 2007-2008 MORE THAN 10% HEAVIER WITHOUT PARENT 7:30-9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. D4: 2005-2006 OR COACH PERMISSION. 7:30-9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. - This year top 4 Novice placers in each weight class earn computer points for seeding at Novice State. These points also count toward Novice State Ranking and end of season Novice awards. Wrestlers must register online to receive points. Awards: Open Division, II, III, and IV- Top three place finishers receive deluxe Olympic Style Medals! Rookie Division & Middle School: Top three place finishers receive regular medals. Entry Fee: Register Online or On Site that day. $22 if Pre-Registered online. $25 if Registered at the time of weigh-ins (cash or check). Novice Division: $20. To receive District/State Seed points and State Computer Ranking Points you MUST register online at http://register.ohioathletics.com Rules: Modified Scholastic Rules will be used for all divisions. Tournament Director reserves the right to combine weight classes upon need. Match Length: 3- 1 minute periods (Choice for 2nd & 3rd periods). 10 pt. Tech Fall. Weight classes of six wrestlers or less will be round robin to maximize mat time. Concessions: Will be served all day, including a full breakfast.
