K-6 DUALS – Maximum 12 Teams

2 Pools of 6 - 1 Crossover Placement Match

 

WEIGHT CLASSES: 

45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95,100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 180

 

SCHEDULE

Weigh-Ins 7-8:30 am

Pool Match 1 - 9:00 am

Pool Match 2 - 10:00 am

Pool Match 3 - 11:00 am

Pool Match 4 - 12:00 pm

Pool Match 5 - 1:00 pm

Crossover Placement Matches - 2:00 pm

 

TEAM INFO:  

-$400 per team (Includes FREE Admission for 4 coaches)

-$100 deposit when registering  

-First 12 teams with paid deposit will be accepted

-Team rosters due by email by 10 pm Wednesday 12/27.  

-We will attempt to fill empty spots on rosters with NON-SCORING free agent wrestlers

-Teams must provide one table worker for each dual

-3 alternate wrestlers allowed per team (20 total wrestlers)

-Wrestlers may only wrestle for 1 team 

****wrestling as a NON-SCORING free agent on another team is permitted

 

AWARDS:

15” Plaques for top 4 teams.  Medals for individual wrestlers on top 4 teams.

 

Match Length:

3-1 minute periods (Choice for 2nd & 3rd periods).  10pt Tech Fall.  OT 1 minute sudden victory if no points scored/30 sec tie breaker (flip for choice).  NOVICE MATCHES = ALL RESTARTS NEUTRAL.

 

Rules:

Modified Scholastic Rules will be used for all divisions.  Tournament will be double elimination or round robin.  Tournament Director reserves the right to combine weight classes upon need. 

 

Admission:

$10 Adult (13 & over), Kids 12 & under FREE

 

Concessions:

Will be served all day.  No coolers, crockpots or carry-ins.
