Girls Jr. High Wrestling State Championships Covelli Centre 229 E. Front St. Youngstown, OH

Registration Closes on March 9, 2025 9pm

DOES NOT REQUIRE QUALIFICATION FROM A DISTRICT

 There is a 2lbs. allowance at weigh in

Girls Junior High Weigh-In Times (Wrestlers will pick up their admission ticket at weigh-ins)

Friday March 14th 7:15 to 8pm Covelli Section 212

Saturday March 15th  5pm-6pm in Community Room. Section 203 or enter through exterior doors to the left of main entrance.

Sunday March 16th 7am to 7:30- Enter through exterior doors to the left of the main entrance.

Girls Junior High Brackets will be released after weigh-ins. 

TICKET & COACH BAND PRESALE (Close  Thursday 9pm)

Note: Please be aware, wrestlers that are competing in boys and girls State tournaments, matches either weekend will not be moved if they are competing in both tournaments. We will only skip up to 3 matches to allow wrestler to get to other mat. 

Online purchased are to be picked up at weigh ins or at the will call ticket window the day of the tournament

Junior High Girls will receive a Saturday & Sunday Admission Ticket if weighing-in on Friday PM

Those weighing on Saturday PM or Sunday AM will receive a Sunday Only Admission Ticket.

2025 GIRLS STATE WRESTLING DIVISIONS & WEIGHT CLASSES

2lb Allowance for each weight. Registration closes 3/10/24 9pm. OHway weights honored.

GRADE SCHOOL DIVISION I (BIRTH YEAR 2016 AND LATER)

39, 44, 49, 54, 61, 68, 75, 85, 100, 130

GRADE SCHOOL DIVISION II (2012 THROUGH 2015, NO 7TH OR 8TH GRADERS) 

50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 76, 82, 90, 98, 108, 120, 135, 150, 185

JUNIOR HIGH (7TH & 8TH GRADE) 

No athlete is eligible for 2024 State if they turn 15 prior to Aug. 1 2024.

 72, 80, 86, 92, 98, 104, 110, 116, 122, 128, 134, 142, 155, 170, 190, AND 235

 For the Junior High weekend. If a girl competes at OhWay Girls Junior High or Junior High Boys tournament their weigh-in will be honored. If they are not competing at OhWay they will have to weigh in Saturday PM or Sunday AM weigh-in times.

The Covelli Centre is unable to rent suites for both OAC Wrestling. The suites at The Covelli Centre are all privately owned. We do have various signage throughout our facility about rentals for the PNC Party Suites; however, they also have been secured for this event and will not be available for either tournament. We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.
