-Point Series where Girls can accumulate points for Seeding Criteria
 
-State Preferred Entry- 2024 Girls State Placers get 1st opportunity to register for the 2025 Girls State Tournaments. They may register from Feb 1st to Feb 9th.
 
-Wrestlers may register after their preferred window until the tournaments reach capacity.
 
-Girls District on Feb. 9th at Glass City Center (Formerly Girls at Glass City). District Placers get preferred registration (Feb 10th to Feb. 17th) & Seeding Criteria for the State Tournament.
 
 
-Wrestlers may register after their preferred window until the tournaments reach capacity.

 

Seeds posted Wednesday 9pm, Brackets released after weigh-ins.

 

DOES NOT REQUIRE QUALIFICATION FROM A DISTRICT

Grade School Girls will receive a Saturday & Sunday  Admission Ticket at Presale/Will call or Weigh-ins.

2025 GIRLS STATE WRESTLING DIVISIONS & WEIGHT CLASSES

2lb Allowance. Registration closes 3/17/25 9PM. 

GRADE SCHOOL DIVISION I (BIRTH YEAR 2016 AND LATER)

39, 44, 49, 54, 61, 68, 75, 85, 100, 130

GRADE SCHOOL DIVISION II (2012 THROUGH 2015, NO 7TH OR 8TH GRADERS) 

50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 76, 82, 90, 98, 108, 120, 135, 150, 185

JUNIOR HIGH (7TH & 8TH GRADE) 

No athlete is eligible for 2024 State if they turn 15 prior to Aug. 1 2024.

 72, 80, 86, 92, 98, 104, 110, 116, 122, 128, 134, 142, 155, 170, 190, AND 235

 

For the Junior High weekend. If a girl competes at OhWay or Junior High Boys tournament their weigh-in will be honored. If they are not competing at OhWay they will have to weigh in Saturday PM or Sunday AM weigh-in times.

For GS weekend. If a girl competes in the boys tournament her weigh-in will be honored for the Girls tournament. If they are not competing in the boy's tournament they will have to weigh in Saturday PM or Sunday AM weigh-in times.
 
Matches either weekend will not be moved if they are competing in both tournaments. We will only skip up to 3 matches to allow wrestler to get to other mat. 

The Covelli Centre is unable to rent suites for both OAC Wrestling. The suites at The Covelli Centre are all privately owned. We do have various signage throughout our facility about rentals for the PNC Party Suites; however, they also have been secured for this event and will not be available for either tournament. We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

For the 2024-25 Season, Girls Novice State Finalists will be eligible to compete in the A+/OAC novice events but ineligible to compete in Novice State tournament
 
For the 2025-26 Season,  Girls Novice State Finalists are ineligible to compete in A+/OAC novice events or Novice State
