Freshman Wrestling State Championships

SEEDS 

 

Open to any Ohio Freshman (OHSAA State Qualifiers/Placers Eligible), and 8th Graders

 

Freshman Competitors will receive a Saturday Only Admission Ticket.

 

Registration Closes on 3/1/25 9 PM or when capacity is met.

New Weight Classes for 2025: 100, 108, 115, 122, 128, 134, 140, 146, 152, 159, 167, 177, 192, 217, 287

There is a 2 lb. allowance for each weight. For example;  A 100 lbs. weight class wrestler can weigh no more than 102.0 at weigh-in

 

Preferred Entry - Jan 1st to Jan 15th to prior Junior High State Placers

Brackets will be released after weigh-ins.

$10 Parking per Day

The Covelli Centre is unable to rent suites for both OAC Wrestling. The suites at The Covelli Centre are all privately owned. We do have various signage throughout our facility about rentals for the PNC Party Suites; however, they also have been secured for this event and will not be available for either tournament. We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.
