Girls Grade School Wrestling State Championships Covelli Centre 229 E. Front St. Youngstown, OH  

Registration Closes on the Sunday prior  7:00 pm.  There are no weight class changes once registration closes

2025 Girls State Placers get 1st opportunity to register for the 2026 Girls State Tournaments. They may register from Jan 1st to Jan 15th. Open registration after Jan. 16th. Wrestlers may change their weight until registration closes if the weight class has not hit capacity.

 There is a 2lbs. allowance at weigh-in. OHWAY Weights NOT Honored. No Sunday Weigh-Ins

Opening Cermonies for Point Series Recipients will be at  7:45 AM  March 28. Top 3 from each weight class will be recognized.

2lb Allowance for each weight. Registration closes 3/22/26 7pm. 

GRADE SCHOOL DIVISION I (BIRTH YEAR 2017 AND LATER)

45, 50, 55, 65, 75, 105

GRADE SCHOOL DIVISION II (2015 THROUGH 2016) 

55, 60, 65, 70, 80, 90,  125

GRADE SCHOOL DIVISION III (2012 THROUGH 2014, NO 7TH OR 8TH GRADERS) 

 65, 70, 75, 80, 90, 100, 110, 125, 150, 185

JUNIOR HIGH (7TH & 8TH GRADE) 

No athlete is eligible for 2026 State if they turn 15 prior to Aug. 1 2025.

The Covelli Centre is unable to rent suites for both OAC Wrestling. The suites at The Covelli Centre are all privately owned. We do have various signage throughout our facility about rentals for the PNC Party Suites; however, they also have been secured for this event and will not be available for either tournament. We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.
