NOVICE CRITERIA:
1)All D1 (6U) wrestlers are eligible for novice
2)3 years or less of wrestling. Can compete in 3rd year of OAC events. Years do not have to be consecutive.
3)Has not participated in OAC, WVYWA, PJW, KFWC, ISWA, MYWAY state (Division 1 6U does not count)
4)Has not placed 1st or 2nd at Novice State
Early Bird Online entry closes at 7 pm 2 days before the tournament.
Regular Online entry closes at 7 pm the day before the tournament.
Placements are updated by Wednesday evening each week for the prior weekend's events. If your wrestler has not received computer points please wait till Thursday morning to contact [email protected]
End of Season Awards (Grade School Only)
Point Series End of Year Awards are handed out at the Grade School State. The top 3 in each weight class are recognized in opening ceremonies of the State Tournament. The top wrestler in each weight class earns end of Season All-Ohio plaque 2nd and 3rd place wrestlers in each weight receive end of Season recognition certificate. The top wrestler in each division receives end of Season Iron Man Award The Points are also used to seed wrestlers at the District and State tournaments. Points will be earned in weight classes contested. Points will not be earned if matches are not wrestled in a weight class.

Division I weight classes: Birth Year 2019 and later
40, 45, 50, 55, 60, HWT (max 75)
Division II weight classes: Birth Year 2017 & 2018
45, 50, 55, 58, 61, 65, 70, 75, 85, HWT (max 120)
Division III weight classes: Birth Year 2015 & 2016
55, 60, 65, 68, 71, 75, 80, 85, 95, 110, 130, HWT (max 160)
Division IV weight classes: Date of Birth Aug. 1st, 2012, through 2014
65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, HWT (max 180)
7th Graders are not eligible to compete in any Grade school event.
